Sunday, November 8th

This year's honoree at the Columbus luncheon will be Marie Willmott.  The luncheon will be held at 12:00PM Casa Mia at the Hawthorne, 2421 Berlin Tpke, Berlin, CT.  The luncheon includes hot/cold hors d'oeuvres, antipasto, penne vodka and fettuccine bolognese, chicken parm, stuffed filet of sole, veggies, coffee/dessert and entertainment.  A cash bar for wine or soda is available.  The cost for members is $27.50 and $55 for non-members.  If you would like to attend, please call Toni Wallace at 203-984-2930 by October 27th so she can make reservations.  Please make your reservations through Toni.  If you make them directly through the Grand Lodge you will be charged $55 whether you are a member or not.  Checks are payable to Pietro Micca Lodge #744 and will be collected at the luncheon.

It's FRIENDSGIVING time again.  We will be having our Friendsgiving dinner at the November meeting.  There is no charge for the dinner.  Christina Kantzas will order turkey, chicken and stuffing.  We are asking members to bring a side dish, rolls and soda, half and half, butter or a dessert.  Please call Christina at 203-8385702 with what you would like to bring and PLEASE CALL Barbara Antonelli at 203-866-3953 if you plan on attending so we can order enough turkey, chicken and stuffing.

TRIP TO SICILY - For those of you who weren't at this month's meeting we told everyone that a 10-day guided trip is in the works - Palermo to Taormina Riviera.  It's a Globus tour and has been put together by Lisa O'Malley, one of our new members.
